New Album Entangled

Entangled our new album is a composition that unfolds like a journey through interconnected sound worlds: a single, continuous form in which smaller arcs of tension emerge and then dissolve back into a larger structure. There are moments of song-like clarity, which then give way to more abstract melodic and rhythmic landscapes.
This is music in the tension between composition and improvisation. Spontaneity fuels its urgency and intensity, while an underlying structure provides support. This music draws freely from many musical styles, but never submits to them. It emerges in the moment of creation itself.

Voices of the Moluccas

The starting point is the Lagu Lagu repertoire: centuries-old Moluccan chanting, captured in field recordings from 1948, reimagined with today’s energy.
